The Three Beauties.

I believe I am obsessed. My collection seems to be on the rise daily and soon there will come a time when my table top cannot hold any more. But until then, here's three more I have purchased. Out of these three beauties, two I have yet to try (bot orange colours). Admittedly, the Barry M glitter polish is beautiful. I loved looking at my nails when I had it on. The only downfall of this nail polish is its stubbornness to be removed. It literally took my ages of full on scrubbing to get it off. Nonetheless, I still loved it. Plus, doesn't chip easily which is a major advantage.

Leopard Print Eye Make-Up.

So me being me, decided on a whim that I should try out make up for Halloween (Last year, late post I know but I felt like posting it. Excuse my rashness). Along my thought process I thought, instead of the generic costumes for Halloween, why not go as an animal. In light of that I went on a hunt on YouTube and found some amazing ideas for animal print eye make up. My favorite had to be the Leopard print. I felt it looked amazing and it was so easy to do, it surprised me.

1. To make the colour of a leopard, I used some brown colours and mixed them together with a coppery colour (see below).
It gave me this really lovey, shimmery, orangey colour which I adored and I applied that on my lid and under my lower lashes.

2. I then added the ever so famous white eye shadow to the corners of my eye, which creates the illusion of bigger eyes (since my eyes are small)

3. After I created  half circles using my liquid eyeliner to make a leopard print pattern.

4. Finally, I lined my eyes with Rimmel London's Glam Eyes liquid eyeliner which I love! (also see above)
All in all, it turned out very well. I'm pleased!

Cause We Like To Parrtyyy!

I'm slowly beginning to realize that being young with no responsibility only happens for a short time. I'm 18 and soon, university is on the cards along with looking after my finances and being able to rely on mainly myself. In saying this, going out to clubs and partying is fun but I think the novelty might wear of soon since other things are going to become a big priority. In light of that, I choose to do it now rather than later!  So, enough life coaching.

I wore this outfit to my friends 18th birthday party. It's this high low chiffon dress. Absolutely gorgeous and it only set me back £19.75 quid from Forever 21.

The shoes are to die for. These black wedges that are totally worth their price. They are comfy, easy to walk in, and go with practically everything I own! (But they are for going out purposes only)

For spring/summer, and I'm saying this hesitantly since I live in the UK, that adding a denim shirt on top of this outfit would be amazing. I guess it adds a sort of casualness to the look rather than a 'lets paint the town red' vibe. Still, its cute and looks hot so why not!

Nail Art.

I have a slight obsession with nails and nail polish. Correction. I definitely have an obsession. The vast range of colours, the smooth texture once the polish has been applied and the final look is enjoyable to me. I think that is why I try so hard to make them look good. 'Imagination is the only limitation of nail art'. This quote is so beautifully true. I have also mentioned before on an older post called Small But Bold that nails are in fact a small part of our bodies, and to be able to cover such a small part of the body in such beauty is fascinating, which is why I love nails and polish so!

Marshmallow Heaven featuring summer foliage. The colour I have on at the moment and am in total love with. The color is perfect for summer and it doesn't look too flashy which is great.

Here I tried out vintage flowers (My hand) and on my cousins had I did a Minnie Mouse themed nail. I'll definitely be doing the vintage flowers again, but first I need to get my hands on a small brush, so I can do the detailed bits better.

I remember seeing on AlunaGeorge's Instagram, a picture of Aluna's nails, and I just had to try them out. I mean some lines are not straight, but for a first time, I think I did pretty darn great!

Blue Eyed Girl from Rimmel London. The bomb. I adore this colour. It looks fantastic and goes with pretty much everything I own, which is like an extra advantage.

This looks totally messy, but it took forever to complete. I saw this on CutePolish's channel on You tube and had to do it. I really liked how the colours looked together.

This is a look that I remember seeing on Khloe Kardashian's Instagram page. It looked stunning, so, being me, I decided this would be another look I could do, which I did and it turned out great!

OOTD: Before College Came To A Halt.

Pre-easter holidays was when I decided upon this look. It was a day that meant results for exams, stress and a lot of running around, trying to get stuff done before college closed for two weeks. But just because I needed a casual, relaxed outfit, that didn't mean I was gonna give up on style. Hell no! So, I decided on a sort of tight/ sort of baggy jumper from the ever so lovely Forever 21 in blue, the nice, baggy and amazing looking Harem pant in black from H&M and a spiked leather jacket also in black from Pull&Bear. To add a splash of colour, since everything in my outfit was either, black or blue I then put on tribal print scarf from Topshop. And Fin! Outfit complete.

Fresh Faces.

I have to admit, about a year to two years ago, my skin was not in great condition. I guess everyone has that belief to an extent, but I truly believed that it could have been better. I remember going past Lush in Westfield and the smell was so enticing, I had to take a closer peek. Upon entering, I was greeted by my friend, little did I know that she worked there and she offered me some wonderful advise along with an amazing product called 'Angels On Bare Skin'. Truly amazing. Its like putty. You add water and hey presto, you have a face scrub. Along with this I used a sliced lemon (sounds weird right?!) but it works. You just rub delicately in a circular motion then rinse off. My skin is brighter, smoother and a lot more appealing in my books. Definitely worth a try.

Next, is this dream in a bottle from Avon. Planet Spa mud mask is probably the best mud mask I have used yet. Its really thick and spreads easily, so not a lot is needed. and it smells divine. After about 20 mins (I'm a bit extra) again, smooth skin is a result, which always puts a smile on my face. Being truthful, I do believe Avon products to be good quality anyway, so it came as no surprise when I tried this product.

To finish off my skin care routine, I think it's best to say, it's vital to have a moisturiser to help keep a dry face at bay. For that I use Shea Butter. It just works for my skin. I don't find it thick or too greasy but perfect. And best of all, it can also be used for the whole body! So that's exactly what I do.

OOTD: College Days

I'm beginning to blog less but in saying this, I still take everyday pictures, collect them then blog. I feel this suits me best. This outfit I really liked. Although I didn't judge the weather properly and ended up freezing my bum off, I guess it was worth it in the name of fashion. As the saying goes, pretty hurts! Here I'm wearing my Zara high waisted shorts ( though to me they look like skinny jeans in this picture), Office brown boots, white shirt from a long ago shop at Forever 21, and two of my favorite pieces, my khaki jacket and grey t-shirt straight from Korea.

I've had this jacket now from since year 10 and I'm in year 13 now (4 years isn't so long I guess). I just can't seem to throw it away cause I love it so much! But hey, I guess old things are becoming new things nowadays.

The Mini Shoe Haul

My first New Years post. Firstly, I should say Happy New Year! Secondly, I haven't been focusing on blogging recently. Being in college, and exams looming, the stresses of revision has been taking its toll on me. Everyday has been a revision session as failure is not an option. Hopefully, the year of 2013 will bring along some opportunities to actually be able to focus all my energy on the development of my blog!

Stylistpick has to be one of my favorite companies to purchase shoes from. They have an exceptional range of footwear. From stilettos to pumps they come in a array of fantastic colours that are bold, eye catching and frankly just stunning. For presents to myself, I decided purchase two pairs of shoes to add to my ever growing collection of beauties. This will sound terrible as a fashion blogger, but I only own two pairs of heels to my name, but they have both been worn only once. I believed that being 17, I felt too young to wear heels and so now being 18, I feel like its time to mature so I ordered a pair of casual heels and a pair of biker boots; sticking to what I know.

I think since I am basically a beginner at heels, it made sense to start off small. I don't wanna go around breaking my ankle now do I! These are super comfy and I swear I feel no pain when walking in them for long periods of time. Amazing pair of booties

Seriously, anything with studs on I fall in love with. They are such an edgy way of vamping up a piece of clothing/ pair of shoes. These are also super comfy and I got them in a size smaller because they didn't have my size but I had to have them and still they fit like a dream. They go with anything too. Such an amazing buy, if i do say so myself.
